Robert Rogers
Robert can’t remember a time when he wasn’t surrounded by music. His dad was a professor of
piano at UNT, there was always music in the house, and LOTS of recitals to attend. He started
UNT as a cello performance major, but quickly learned that he was not suited to hours alone in
a practice room. He switched to medicine and has been in practice as an allergist in Fort Worth
since 1984. Choral singing has filled his desire to remain involved in performance. His most
memorable choral experience was the premiere of Andrew Lloyd’s “Christus” with the Choral
Artists of Fort Worth.
